Sh. Abdurrahman Murad joined us at the Generation Muslim Conference in Edmonton to discuss the guidelines we follow as Muslims when navigating modern technology and marriage in his lecture “Fiqh of Love and Marriage with Modern Technology”.
Generation Muslim is an annual conference from NYM iNK that takes place in Vancouver and Edmonton. We have recently wrapped up GenM 9.0 in Vancouver and GenM 5.0 in Edmonton. The Generation Muslim Conference looks to build a strong sense of identity, unity and community among Muslims in Western Canada. The purpose is to develop a strong generation of Muslims who are able to positively contribute towards their communities by embodying the principles of Islam.
