Generation Muslim Conference 2019 (Edmonton)

September 28th and 29th 2019

NYMiNK is pleased to announce that the Generation Muslim Conference is back in Edmonton!

Our 5th annual two-day conference will take place September 28th & 29th insha’Allah.

This year our aim is as strong as ever:
“Inspiring Confidence. Reviving Identity”

How can we develop a strong sense of self as Muslims living in Canada? How do we reconcile contemporary issues like activism, racism, and social media with our identity

Generation Muslim is the manifestation of a vision to revive and strengthen the Islamic identity of Muslims living in North America, empower families to connect with their Deen together and in turn inspire our community with a mere glimpse of what we can achieve when we are united with one another.

A collaborative effort by a team of scholars, du’at, students, parents and community leaders, GenM doesn’t simply entail “lectures.” GenM is a weekend of exploration into deeper issues impacting our community, delving into solutions and empowerment.

Are the talks just for youth?
Challenges and obstacles are facing Muslims of all walks of life. GenM offers pragmatic solutions for adults, youth, students, parents and community leaders. The GenM conference is not just for youth, a casual hang-out, or a temporary Iman boost. Instead it discusses solutions to core issues faced by all Muslims, not just youth issues.

High quality and opportunities that inspire meaningful changes and realizations are rare. Save the Date for the highly anticipated and unique Iman recharge station this Fall 2019.

Dates: September 28th and September 29th, 2019
Saturday: Al Mustafa Academy (7814 83 St NW, Edmonton)
