ABOUT

The Nation of Young Muslims was founded in 1999 by a group of Muslim youth from western Canada who sought to challenge the prevailing pop culture and provide a more meaningful alternative for today’s young Muslims.

Together, we’re building a strong, united Muslim community.

Together, we’re building a resilient and united Muslim community—one rooted in faith, compassion, and collective strength. Through shared values, mutual support, and meaningful engagement, we aim to uplift every member of our community, ensuring no one is left behind. Whether it’s through educational initiatives, social support, or spiritual growth, we are committed to creating a foundation that empowers individuals and families to thrive in the face of challenges. By standing together, we foster unity, resilience, and a sense of belonging that transcends generations.

Built on Trust, Committed to You

A Trusted Name in Service and Integrity — this isn’t just a tagline; it’s a reflection of who we are and what we stand for. Our commitment to transparency, compassion, and ethical service has earned us the trust of the community we proudly serve. Every initiative we undertake is guided by a deep sense of responsibility and a dedication to uplifting others. Whether we’re responding to urgent needs or building long-term programs, we do so with honesty, humility, and a steadfast focus on the well-being of those we serve. Trust is not given—it’s earned, and we strive to earn it every day.

United Against Islamophobia

Islamophobia in Canada is a growing concern with serious impacts on Muslim communities. Studies show a troubling rise in hate crimes—from verbal abuse to violence and vandalism of mosques. This trend highlights the urgent need for action to combat Islamophobia and ensure Muslim Canadians feel safe and included. Tackling the issue requires collaboration between government, communities, and the public to promote understanding and unity.
